Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (any shape works)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk (whole milk recommended) Dairy alternatives can be used but may vary in creaminess.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Freshly grated enhances creaminess.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cooking Process

  • Begin by heating the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Stir in the pasta and the milk. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer until the pasta is cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and creates a creamy sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, add a splash of milk to restore creaminess. Can add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for variation.
