For the sliders

  • 8 pieces Slider buns
  • 1 pound Roast beef Thinly sliced or deli-style
  • 2 cups Caramelized onions
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese Can substitute for provolone or cheddar

For the broth mixture

  • 2 cups Beef broth Can substitute with chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the slider buns in half and arrange the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  • Layer generous amounts of roast beef and caramelized onions on each bun.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the beef and onions.
  • Place the top halves of the buns on the sliders.
  • In a bowl, mix the beef broth with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  • Carefully place the assembled sliders in the broth, ensuring the bread soaks in all that flavor.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
  • Serve warm with extra broth for dipping.

Notes

Leftover sliders can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, place them in the oven for about 10 minutes at 350°F (175°C). For longer storage, freeze unassembled sliders for up to three months.
