  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half or a lower-fat alternative
  • 1 cup grated cheese (like mozzarella or parmesan) Add extra cheese on top when serving if desired
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped Use yellow or white onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • to taste olive oil For sautéing

Preparation

  • Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent.

Cooking

  • Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Combine the cooked pasta with the beef and sauce mixture, stirring to coat evenly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
