  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  • Toss in the sliced carrots and celery, allowing them to soften, which usually takes about 5 minutes.
  • Add the shredded chicken and egg noodles, simmering until the noodles are cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs for an added burst of flavor.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can freeze it in freezer-safe containers for up to a month. To reheat, warm over medium heat, adding a splash of broth or water to thin it out if needed.
